The English language course provides complete language support for our Drama courses, as well as some preparation for all our the papers of the Cambridge University Examinations. To that effect the course is divided into different modules:
Language Structures, where you learn and improve your English grammar, English vocabulary and English usage,
Intensive Speaking Practice, where you practise orally what you have learnt in Language Structures. This will include intensive Speech-Training (Pronunciation and Intonation exercises),
as well as help with the
Comprehension and pronunciation of Drama Students' scripts and speeches
The minimum English language entry level for this course is intermediate / upper - intermediate. The course is structured as an Access Course to more advanced Drama courses, such as our Advanced course, by providing non-native speakers with extra English language tuition to help with the Foundation Acting Skills. The course is also designed to help students achieve a deeper understanding of English dialogues, scripts, and plays.

" Dear Michelle and all my teachers, At Star Tek, I've never felt that I studied English. Star Tek has just made me want to communicate and express myself in English more, and it was wonderful that I was able to have such a feeling.. Moreover, learning from professionals in various areas stimulated and encouraged me a lot…. Finally, the 5 months at Star Tek was a great joy for me. I am so grateful to you and really wish you good luck!! Yours sincerely," Mariko, Japan.
