Drama, Acting, Theatre, and Performing Arts courses in London

Full - Time, Intensive Drama Courses

Our Full-time, Intensive Drama courses give students the opportunity to take external Speech and Drama examinations with Trinity Guildhall.  Sarah Mann, the Course Director is a trained Trinity Guildhall Examiner.

We offer two one - year courses:  the Diploma Course (Ref. KAT/Dip), preparing students for a West End Showcase and the ATCL Diploma (equivalent to the first year of a BA Honours Degree), and the Professional Course (Ref. KAP/Lit), preparing students for the LTCL Diploma (equivalent to a BA Honours Degree) and a production in a London Fringe venue at the end of the year.

Each one-year course is divided into two stages: Stage I (Foundation Level: Ref. KAT/A & KAP/A), both ten-week courses, and Stage II (Advanced Level: Ref. KAT/B & KAP /B), both twenty-week courses.  These can be subscribed independently and so, as a result of the Audition process, students are accepted for either Stage I – Foundation Level, Stage II- Advanced Level, or both combined.

Students on all courses will produce end-of-term showcases at our studios, but the Diploma and Professional course students’ final showcases are produced in a West End Theatre.

Our Courses lead to exam qualifications that are accredited by the QCA and level with the National CurriculumThe Diploma Foundation students take the TRINITY GUILDHALL Acting Skills Grades 7 - 8, which carry UCAS points, the Diploma Advanced students take the ATCL Diploma in Performing, which is comparable to year one of a Degree or  Level 5 on the NQF national framework. and the Professional students take the LTCL Diploma in Performance Arts, which is level 6 and equivalent to an Honours Degree on the NQF national framework
