SUMMER DRAMA COURSES 2009

We offer 3 Intensive Summer Drama courses (REF - ISD / 1, 2 or 3):

Acting & Improvisation Course Ref. ISD / 1
This 3-week course gives students an insight into what it takes to be an actor. Classes include: Voice, Speech, Movement, Improvisation, Singing, Dance, Theatre Sports, Physical Theatre, and Acting. Students will be encouraged to explore various methods of working and will discover different forms of expression.

Acting & Comedy Course Ref. ISD / 2
This 3-week course gives students further insight into what it takes to be a classical actor. Classes include: Voice, Speech, Movement, Singing, Dance, Physical Theatre, and Acting. As well as Shakespeare in action: how to speak it, how to act it naturally, and how not to be afraid of it! Everyone will finish the course with a prepared Shakespeare audition speech

Acting & Screen Acting Course Ref. ISD / 3
This 3-week course gives students the tools to act for both Stage and Screen. Classes include: Voice, Speech, Movement, Singing, Dance, Physical Theatre, and Acting. As well as Screen Acting in which students learn the basic techniques and how they differ from Stage techniques.

ACTING & IMPROVISATION

Course Ref. ISD1 = 29th June 09 to 17th July 09 incl.

ACTING & COMEDY

Course Ref. ISD 2 = 20th July 09 to 7th August 09 incl.

ACTING & SCREEN ACTING

Course Ref. ISD 3 = 10th August to 28th August 09 incl.

No audition required for Entry. (Students who wish to can enrol for courses 1 and 2 or 1, 2, and 3 at aspecial rate)

Fees:

Course ISD / 1, 2 or 3 - 2009 = 3-week courses.

£ 875 (Tuition only - inclusive of course materials)

£ 1250 (Tuition & Residential Fees - All inclusive in shared * room)

£ 1510 (Tuition & Residential Fees- All inclusive in single room)

* Maximum 2 to 3 students sharing per room

Intensive Drama Workshops also available Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer Terms:

Saturday mornings (11.30am to 1.30pm) and / or afternoons (2pm to 4pm), Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings(7pm to 9pm).
