Students learn to direct, shoot, .....and then edit their work in the London Language and Drama School Film Studies' course

The aim of the Film Studies course is to give students an insight into the Film industry - from its birth until modern day cinema - and to give students the opportunity to acquire "hands - on" professional experience in front of and behind the camera.

Students learn about the film industry and then practise some of the techniques they have learnt in the London Language and Drama School's Film Studies' course.

Course content - Course aim - Students' Comments

The course comprises both seminars and workshops. A video camera, sound studio, and extensive film library, all combine to place every aspect of film and film making at the students' finger tips.

At the end of the course students will have improved their appreciation, analysis, and enjoyment of all aspects of Film, and acquired basic skills in all aspects and techniques of film-making.
